I am getting the skin on the top of my right foot rubbed away by friction. This only happens on one foot (on the top of the foot about an inch from the toes, size of a 2p coin) and has only started since I upped my mileage to 60-80k per week. The foot it occurs on is the same foot where over pronation is more pronounced.
Some things I have tried (all failed are)
- Specialized gait analysis and changed to shoes which have more room in the front.
- Engo blister patches attached to top of shoe (they come off after a few miles unfortunately)
- Vaseline on the area before I run
Thanks if there are any suggestions how to help with this.
