A month from now I have a 10k planned which I am hoping to run in <34:30. The 10k is on Sunday afternoon and the 1500m is on the Friday night two days before. How much would running the 1500m affect my 10k performance? Would it be better to skip the 1500m? I have never run a 10k before.
Age 30 yo. Weekly mileage is about 40 miles. Current pb:
