anyone have a good comparison of these 2? i recently switched from stability to neutral bec i realized i didn't need all the motion control with my orthotics. am wearing the landreth and it's pretty good but i like rotating 2 pairs so am looking for a complement. i like mizuno and they usually fit my narrow feet well. how does the rider match up?
I was a longtime Landreth wearer. I recently switched to the Rider and like it better.
had both, liked both..very similar shoes for similar types of runners. I would guess that the orthotic might feel better (and work better) in the landreth. it's slightly lower profile and the arch is not sculpted as high as in the mizuno.
Dont even mention Asics in the same breath as the great Mizuno. Is that clear ?
The fit and feel winner in recent years has clearly gone to Mizuno. I would equate the Precision more with the Landreth though. Those are the 2 I used for a while. Now Precision and Speedstar get rotated. The fit of the Speedstar is still subpar, but I like the overall light flexible package.

I wear the Landreth with orthotics. Great shoe. I would love to wear the Mizuno, but they are too shallow for my orthotics and my forefoot gets pushed up too tightly under the top of the shoe and makes the tendons on the top of my foot hurt bad. It sucks. I dunno why the Mizunos are so dang shallow!
