Isn't that the kind of gap this chick just ran in the mile race? 4:07? lol!

They might say.... "That manned Mars landing was complete fake."
A better analogy would be like if the men’s mile record was still 3:48 and then someone ran 3:43. Now the 1500m and mile records are basically on the same level

False equivalence here.

“This chick”. Pfft.
It’s not really surprising to anyone who knows 1500/mile equivalents, is it? 4:12.33 was low hanging fruit for a 3:49.11 (or 3:52.11) runner. The women’s mile top list is nowhere near as developed as the 1500 or 3k or for that matter the men’s mile, since it’s an imperial (near death) distance that’s historical significance largely predates serious women’s distance running. I mean, the longest Olympic distance for women was 800m until 1972!
So no, this is nothing like a man running a 3:21 1500. A man running a 7:54.1 2-mile is a closer comparison.

Whether or not you think 4:07 is a suspicious performance in of itself, all she did today was run the near perfect equivalent of her 1500m WR so your logic is pretty damn bad - this much should be obvious to everyone here. Very apt comparison from JWH to Jakob lowering the 2mile (I think we can all agree 7:58.61 is worth about 7:25ish? So still impressive, but notably weaker than the 3000m)
