It seems expected that she will win the 1500/5k double at Worlds and possibly the Olympics. I’ll say it almost seems inevitable at this point. Predictions?
wouldn't put her above sifan right now. all of her crazy times have come from wavelight paced efforts. sifan has done so many spectacular things in unpaced, championship settings. closing 10k in 3:59 to beat gidey, last 100m in like 13.6 in olympic 10k, last 400 57.3 to win olympic 5k going away, the 1500 10k double, the olympic triple, winning a semi after falling down, winning London when no one expected it. just so much insane stuff. kipyegon has the more impressive times and overall championship record though. but to me, rn, no one has been greater or more thrilling than sifan

I think this has been obvious for 6 to 7 years. The tipoff has always been that Hassan is totally relaxed against everyone else in the world and uses one style against them, but versus Kipyegon you can see the anxiety in Hassan as she tries to figure out what strategy might have a chance.

It's not just the time trials, Kipyegon has mostly won the head-to-head battles with Hassan. Faith is 4-1 against her in global championships and 9-6 overall, excluding heats. Hassan was definitely better in 2019 but Faith won their last 3 matchups in 2021. Last year Hassan didn't even attempt the 1500 in the WC because she knew she would have a better chance in the 5 and 10K.

this is true, but all of their head to head battles occurred in the event Faith specializes in. I don't think Faith would have fared well if she had tried to race Sifan at 10k in 2019-2021. But yeah, prior to 2019, Faith was clearly the better runner
*also forgot to mention how she front ran a 3:51 with no pacing lol

Pound for pound (kg for kg) she is putting out more power than Kipchoge?
It's not just that she is comfortable using all the modern tools available, the super-shoes, the lights, etc. but when it comes time to hammer solo when the pacers and lights are gone, she is 100% ready and willing and takes it to the wire every time.
So yes GOAT title and all the accolades.
I've watched the mile several times now and what's really hilarious (in a good way) is at the end afterwards, when she is done and just walking around, she's been wandering for almost TEN SECONDS and finally looks behind her and not even then just a second afterwards you can finally see 2nd place and all the chase pack finally cross the line in the far distant background.

LOOOL this is crazy, do you really think Hassan coulda taken Faith over 5k in those years? She could barely beat Hellen Obiri
Hassan isnt even better than Tirunesh Dibaba for GOAT and yet we are supposed to crown her the best ever because of a 3 year period?
When Kipyegon has been better than her since they started racing in 2015
and dont act like the 1500 wasnt Hassan's specialty too

"barely beat"? She destroyed obiri. Obiri said it herself, to paraphrase: "I knew Sifan would destroy us the last lap" - and she did, easily, going away, and didn't even look tired at the end! I think Faith would've put up a good fight, but she would not have beaten Hassan at 5000 in 2021, and would've been beaten badly at 10k. In 2019 and 2020, Kipyegon would have been beaten badly in 5k, too,
In 2021, Hassan beat Kipyegon in Kipyegon's event mere days after setting the world record in an event 6x as long. Don't know what your "lol" is at. In 2019, She beat Kipyegon by a huge margin in her signature event mere days after winning Gold at 10k.
