Was checking out my log today and it said elapsed time was 1:35 (10:34 pace) for a 9miler but that I averaged 8:18 on my run. I stopped at stop lights, stopped to grab a drink and had to to stop to grab and put a band aid on a blister that had popped… but didn’t think I stopped up to 2min/mile. Will those stops affect my fitness and make that run worse than I thought it was?

You would get better fitness doing a 95 minute run of 9 X (8:18/mile + 2:15 walk) than you would running 95 minutes at a 10:34/mile.

So you spent 95 minutes doing your run, 75 minutes running and 20 minutes stopped. It doesn't matter how much time you thought you stopped, your watch is telling you the truth of what you did. That's a pretty long time to be stopped. I usually figure anything under 5min/hr stoppage time to be good enough when running in the city.
Is it better to run 75 minutes without stopping? Yes. Do you find it easier to do 6x mile with 1:00 rest between or 6 miles straight at the same pace?
