Who would win? I think the result might surprise a few folks. Shot putters are pure fast twitch.

I'd go with Crouser through 30m, but 100m is a long way...
Jakob.
Crouser is approximately 320lb. That's a lot of weight to move for someone who doesn't have any running expertise.
Crouser breaking 14 would raise my eyebrow. If if actually breaks 13, I would be shocked.
Crouser could shot put Jakob to about 5m.
I think jakob would win.
As far as I know, Brian Oldfield back in the 70s is the only world class shot putter who could really sprint. Used to take on the top female sprinters at the end of track meets and beat them at sprints.
He also outlifted The Hulk.
Neither would be worth watching.
R Crouser found one thing he can do well.
J Ingebrigtsen is great 1500m to 5000m and probably would not embarrass himself too badly 1000m & 10000m.
Neither are capable of f.a.t. sub-12 100m so ... . Who cares.
Shot put world champion Chase Ealey could probably beat them both. She ran 12.2 in high school and was the state champion in the 100 meters.

Agreed. Was going to say Crouser up to 50-55m max. A good powerful burst of speed initially. I would expect it's all Jakob after that.
