So I'm starting on my college search and I want to go to a small liberal arts type college, but also run at a pretty competitive program where I will be under the watch of a good coach as well be with runners who are similar in ability to me. Most of the better liberal arts schools on the east coast, and a few in the midwest and west coast, seem really appealing to me and if it weren't for running, I would have a hard time narrowing down my choices at all. I want to know what are the better DIII running schools that would fit into that category of high level liberal arts schools as well. I know of a few, like Haverford and Williams, but what are some others and what are their running programs like?
My PR's are 16:10, 9:46 and 4:36, from sophomore track and junior xc. GPA is 3.9ish unweighted, with a full load of AP classes and good extracurriculars. Haven't taken the SAT, but practice scores and PSAT scores are all good, so getting into most programs shouldn't be too difficult.
Thanks for the help.
