Please tell us details about these parking patrols and California haters? I also want to know where the cut rate tickets were sold? I couldn't find any on Ticketmaster or the GoDucks app. Please enlighten us.
Subtract the families and it was around 3000 per day I'd guess.

No parking for 1 mile from the stadium.
After the meet Officials got no food service, and there was no place open to eat until the morning.
No AC in the filthy dorms that smell of urine and beer.
Fans complained there were so few fans the city cancelled many of the buses from Autzen Stadium.
Everyone asked McDonalds employees in person to stay open and they said the Eugene Police ordered businesses to close at 9 to save overtime pay,

I heard Nike Store minimum wage workers passed out free tickets and free bus passes at the SVDP Service Center to jack up attendance.

No AC in the dorms?! Ugh. We are staying in the dorms for the upcoming Junior Olympics. Thought it would be cool to have Nationals in Eugene but it's turning into a nightmare. Only reasonable hotels for parents to stay are over an hour away.
I turned down a paid coaching gig with free trip to Nats because I knew Eugene would be nightmare. As much as I'd like to go there once, doesn't sound like a great way to spend a week of the summer.

It's funny - I parked both days of the weekend on Agate less than a 1/2 mile from the stadium (right on the edge of the residentials). On both days, there were plenty of food options within a mile of the stadium, and I left after 9PM.

Not really. I enjoyed beers and a burger at McMenamin's late on Friday night and had an 8:45PM reserved table at Rye on Saturday. Parked for free no more than three blocks away from the stadium on all four days. Never saw any skinheads/neo Nazis shaking down people parking on public streets and no one accosted me for living in Los Angeles before moving to Oregon.
It's funny how people that were not in Eugene over the weekend continually need to invent tall tales about how terrible things are in their imagination.
No food after the meet? You’re less than a mile from downtown. LIE
No hotels? Multiple hotels have been built near Hayward since its remodel. LIE
No/ limited parking within a mile? This is true year round on that part of campus. Bus, walk, bike, or (gasp) run the final mile.

It's always a dead hole situation in Eugene. Like being stranded naked in West Texas. No one is open. No parking. The residents hate us. The homeless steal from us. The cops want us out. Hotel managers are rude. Even half empty HF had long lines at the men's pissers. Longer lines at the water fill stations. A complete fail.

The Oregon State fair 15 miles up the road had 40-50K attendance every day.
