I am more of a strength based 3k runner and I have found great success with double thresholds. I typically run 80-110mpw with Prs of 8:20 14:25 and 30:20. I know the 10k could be faster don't bring it up. I have also ran a 68 for the half.

R 30/45 fartlek until 45 min, 10x1k

S hills 20x150m 3-4 in the afternoon occasionally
S 10 for the long run currently, I have ran 22 before but currently max at 13. I haven't raced in 2 years I have just been training due to me not liking racing but enjoying training.
the 800m is my favorite event and I want to know how I should change my base phase If I need to, I plan on racing 800m in December. and have my 6 weeks of peak already planned. But am interest in learning about workouts people have done leading up to a big 800m pr.
Last time I ran an official 800 was a 2:06 about 9 years ago when I was in high school. I have done workouts where I have hit 2:04-2:06 for 800m while in college.
