I'd like to see a US track policy of having the 100m open winner being the 4x1 anchor. This year Sha'Carri is our champion and our best chance for gold in the homestretch of the 4x1.

If you remember the last time the American men won a championship 4x1 was when they anchored with Lyles while Coleman and Gatlin ran the 1st and 2nd legs after they went 1-2 in the open 100.
I always go with my fastest runner and champion on the anchor. In the women's 100m this season it's Sha'Carri. If she wins great. If a Jamaican runs her down. Fine. I'd still want her as the anchor. She's our best.

You've never run a 4x1...it's all about executing your passes. We've seen time and again, especially with the US men bungled handoffs and not even finishing. What have YOU seen that indicates she has the discipline to not take off too early or not run up on the next leg?
