Pretty prescient on Nike's part. She's a year ahead of schedule and along with all other finalists has the world standard. She's actually better at 200m.

Looking at her splits that seems right
Her weakest part of the race is the start, but she has YEARS to perfect that.
this girl looks like an average woman, definitely not a top sprinter.
what am I missing?
what's her secret?
Not a criticism, actually a compliment, but I agree with this poster. I was amazed when I saw close up video of her, she looks massively undeveloped compared to the top ladies. Of course she's 17 so that's not a surprise. I think she has a ton of upside.
I wonder if she'll run the 200 considering she had a left shoulder problem. She could probably make the final in the 200 as well since it's looking likeher better event
Also she said in her post-race interview she isn't going pro after high school. I wonder where she goes for college, you'd have to guess Oregon but Texas and Arkansas seem like the best programs for women's sprints right now
Top 6 finishers are in the relay pool, but we shall see how things pan out.
They can use other than the top 6 can't they? Prandini and Steiner ran the 4x1 last year. I don't think the coaches would replace either one with a high schooler.
