She has a bye to World Championships as the defending champion in the 400m. Will she go to Budapest to try to defend? I doubt she'll get a heptathlon qualifier.

She is finished with the 400 she said. Maybe 200 and heptathlon.

Her husband is a multi so she probably has a lot of respect for multi eventers. There might also have been a rule about needing multiple athletes to contest an event so she could be doing it for her sister since she's young enough to be competing U20 but is in the senior competition. Glad she is doing it and hope she has fun.
