Canadian Harry Jerome ran a world record 10,0, 9,3, 9,2, 9.1 and was an Olympic medalist, he is the greatest sprinter Oregon has ever had. Micah Williams the fastest.

Willie Turner 10,0 WR at Oregon State

Trinidad's Mike Agostini the best thing ever at Fresno State, a world record ,9,3 a 100 and 200 Olympic finalist.

Houston McTear best thing ever at Cerritos JC, ya reckon?

Ato Boldon at UCLA over Mike Marsh?

USC with Lennox Miller, Don Quarrie, Andre Degrasse, hmmmm?

No doubt Steve Williams at San Diego State and Davidson Ezinwa at Azusa Pacific. That Nigeria kid at Stanford already the best they ever had.

Clancy Edwards at Cal Poly pre USC.

Jean Louis Ravelomatasoa Westmont

Chuck Smith Occidental

Tommie Smith at SJS and Hal Davis at Cal.

Well that covers the west coast.

Who can do those HBCU schools?

Actually I am more familiar with Texas football players than sprinters. I was going to put Charles and thought about Williams and Benson but they were big guys and don't think they are approaching 10.0.

I vaguely recalled Henry Neal and looked him up and he held the national prep record at 10.15. I think the guy from Galveston Ball broke it and ran like 10.12 or so. Then Bolding ran 9.98 but that may have been wind-aided.

Those cats were fast. Carl Lewis set world record. I think DeLoach ran fastest ever time at the time for 200 but was wind-aided (19.61 or so). Stanley Floyd - he maybe held the 50 0r 60 WR but I might be misremembering. All of those cats were fast. Deno - Name your top 5 schools for sprinters.
