As more teams continue to release their schedules for the upcoming season, we start to see some very big meets loading up - here are some of the biggest:

Nothing against that, they’re an incredible team and I like the prediction.
They returned everyone from last year and they have an outstanding group of 3200 times. 9:18, 9:28, 9:33, 9:46, 9:47, 9:50, 9:51, 9:54. The 9:46 and 9:50 guys are the only seniors in this group, and the rest are juniors. So they will be looking to potentially take home the state title in 2024.
that's interesting, I've tagged her as one to watch as of last year. You're right, it's difficult to train without a top team, and just go to the state meet, etc. all by oneself (well, and your coaches). Maybe she has some outside help, like a private coach, or a parent who ran in college, who knows. I've noticed a pattern that the top runners (at least many of them) have some kind of connection like that. There was a top runner from my hometown who just graduated last year & was a successful track athlete all four years. I thought to myself, "where did she come from?" Turns out her mom is a track coach of another school in the district, hah!

I imagine that she has well thought out training plans. Girls that run the way she does don't just jump in and do that. Especially since she had progression. Someone knows what they are working with and they are giving her time to develop. I think girls progression is tricky. Is you push too hard, too quickly, they can break, or they peak too early. Both can be devistating in the long run. Looking forward to watching her XC season.
