Do altitude mask and tents work?
Do altitude mask and tents work?
Tent: yes
Masks: no
Training in humidity/heat is known to replicate the affect of altitude but you do not want to compromise your workouts for the sake of this. Only attempt this on easy runs or go to the sauna.
Better to just focus on training harder than those living at altitude are capable of (faster workouts, easier to recover)
What are you training for?
It's probably better to show up for the race a week earlier and get somewhat adjusted to the altitude.
Why bother? A large percentage of those training at altitude have no idea what they're doing.
If you can't get to a race a week early that's at altitude is there any point?
