In my opinion, the most promising male and female athletes are:
1. Parker Wolfe
2. Nico Young
3. Kenneth Rooks
1. Katelyn Tuohy
2. Parker Valby
3. Maia Ramsden
So which of the 9 possible combinations would create the fastest offspring?

Lol. There are only 6 possibilities, not 9. Who would the honorary 3rd be?
It's been done. Colt Goucher

Parker Wolfe and Parker Valby. Name the child Parker.
Statistically there is more chance that a child would regress back to the mean than be world class.
Keely Hodgkinson & Will Sumner
We should find out from Colt Goucher (son of Adam and Kara Goucher), or perhaps Alan and Julia Webb's daughters in the next few years.

It’s weird you would imagine these young men and women reproducing
Athing Mu & Brandon Miller
Maybe a good runner out of this union, if they chose to be runners.

Don’t get why this was downvoted. It made me laugh
Cruz Culpepper’s parents were both Olympic distance runners and it doesn’t look like he’ll have the same success.
Faith Kipyegon and 1:42.53 800 runner Timothy Kitum have a daughter.
And of course…
I would like to see this
If you had a strong enough grasp on hereditary genetics, you’d realize it’s really just a roll of the dice with no great odds for any potential couple.

Not for lack of talent, in Cruz’s case. Ran 4:00.1 indoors in HS and barely ran until junior year. Rocco Culpepper ran 4:16a as a freshman.
Ummm ever heard of hybrid vigor? You would need one of these 6 people to breed with a sloth for a chance at producing extremely fast progeny*.
*Note: may also produce extremely slothlike progeny.
