I recall Nick Willis saying that he felt Hobb’s basic speed was very similar to his own in his prime. Nick’s all time best 800m is 1:45.54 so I’m going to go with a 1:45.82.

Yes agree the spike factor will give him an advantage over Nick, maybe 1 second or so. He may run a mid 1:44 in the near future.

Hobbs has great wheels but I think people are really overestimating his speed. He's still an endurance-based 1500 guy imo, so i'm not expecting anything crazy. I'm gonna say 1:46.1 for 3rd.
