White singlet is lucky that black singlet didn't run up to him after the race and punch him in the face.
I'm not sure any of us know what happened or didn't happen after the race
Black singlet beat the white singlet even after getting shoved to the ground. You effing suck if you shove someone so hard they fall and then they get up and beat you.
White singlet also drifted out to lane 5 as he was finishing to probably avoid the confrontation. What a loser.
Ben Myers is retweeting and making Instagram stories about the shove. Dude lost to Parker Allen, the runner that he pushed over. Like the other poster said, he then finished out in lane 5 to avoid the guy that just beat him.
He's a chicken sh*t that is running his mouth on social media after when he doesn't have to face the person he did that to. He's a punk and I hope that BGSU rethinks having that clown on their team.

Seems like you didn't dispute my point and just resorted to libel.

Neither of the guys are at that high of a level. I never understood why middling athletes traveled so far for competition if they're not at the elite level. It seems like a money grab for the meet. The same thing happens in other sports. Club soccer might be the worst. Mediocre teams traveling across the country for games.
Bowling Green, where the Ohio guy is going, doesn't even have a track team - cross country only.

That would have been even more fun entertaining f that was the final turn. I'd like to see more of this when certain elites like to drift out to lane 3+ on home stretch to cut runners off at finish.
these events are meet markets, a way for runners to get on the radar of college coaches. maybe he was a late bloomer and wasn't highly recruited, and by showcasing here he can be seen by recruiters, maybe transfer to a better school.
that said, I don't think this incident is the way he wanted to get noticed.
It wasn't worse than the push Joe Fslcon got at the NCAA championships, then again at the Olympic trials
It’s definitely not the way to handle it but the guy in the black singlet had it coming to him.
Still doesn't surpass the hijinks in Illinois state meet last year.
That’s the best mid-race beef since one I witnessed in HS 50 years ago at the Athens Indoor meet at Oakland Coliseum. It was a mile on a 160y banked track, there was some serious bumping between two runners. Finally one of them got pushed onto the infield, stopped, waited a lap until the pack came around again, grabbed the guy who shoved him by the arm and flung him into the seats WWE style. Highly entertaining.
This whole thing reminds me: Anyone know what happened with those kids in Florida where one of them actually punched the other in the head during a race? I think it was earlier this season, maybe in an 800 or 1600. The victim hit his head when he fell.
Guy was trying to pass on the inside but had no room and tried to push his way through. Didn't turn out well for him.
They are learning early. I saw some very effective shoving throughout the New Balance event, at all levels. Watch the girl at back left in this 800. She leads with her left elbow and forearm with very early dividends:
