This was his opportunity. 3:29.05 is clearly his limit. Now he'll either burn out like all young American hopes, or get caught eating some dodgy Mexican burritos.

Perhaps he won't. That would still leave him faster than any Brit other not named Mo Doorbell Farah.

You're wrong! He just ran 3:29.02, going under your prediction of 3:29.05 being his limit.
Don't put limits on the Goose!

Wrong. 3:29.05 is not his limit. He ran 3:29.02 today.
This kind of thread should be deleted for dumbness.
It is impossible to say for sure and you sound so full of yourself, it is embarrassing (for you). We have no idea if Nuguse will run 3:29.01 in a few weeks or not or, who knows, even 3:28.99 --- None of us know that because we can't see the future.
p.s. Trolling like this is so 2002. Grow up.
The 1500 is not even his best distance (IMO). Probably more of a mile/3k guy. If he never runs under 3:29.02, he's fine. Especially if he gets the 3:46.94 AR (he might) or runs under 7:28.00 (he also might). All about the body of work. Guse is clearly not a 1500m "specialist"
Not counting Lagat, Americans who dip under 3:32 rarely ever do it again.

You talkin bout missing wherabouts Nuguse? Ahhhh, that weirdo
run
bro has the second fastest indoor mile at 3:47.38 and he closed it with 25.xx lap. What are you smoking? I don't know how much more he can PR but I definitely see 3:28.xx in his future. You Stay being pessimistic on americans.
