Well done Spain, a testament to both your famous EPO doping culture and your inability to deal with the tidal wave of illegal immigration from Africa that will eventually subsume and destroy your culture. Viva Espana!
Does anyone else find the WA website weird to navigate or is it just me? The all time ranking is fine but I find the World Rankings a bit...
You set it to a date but it doesn't say how long the time period is, and you can't even see the times on the ranking list, you have to open each individual profile - and then you have to scroll to the right as it doesn't display it all on the page in the pop-up.
And then it does things like it has Selemon Beraga as 3. and Grant Fisher as 4. then when you open their times it lists 12:54.87 above 12:46.96 WTF!! If I want a list from 5000m I don't want them to order people by 3000m!
The following are the national records in athletics in Japan maintained by Japan's Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF). Outdoor Key to tables: Awaiting ratification Record not kept by JAAF Not ratified or later rescin...
Japan very good in sprints, so so middle distance, v.good long distance, great depth overall from 10,000-marathon and ultra. In addition probable zéro doping culture.
USA - phenomenal depth in middle distance with sweet spot 1500/mile.

GBR would’ve had this a few years ago, but Moorcroft was 13:00.4 correct?
Some of the UKs 1500 guys should also focus on the 5000. Getting on the 1500 team in Paris is going to be incredibly hard but the competition in the 5000 is minimal - anyone who can reach the standard is on the team. For someone like George Mills, who is just outside that group of top 1500 guys (even with. 3:33 PB), the 5000 should be a good option. He debuted with 13:18 at the weekend, I don't think it's unreasonable to think he could find 13 seconds to hit the standard if it became his focus.
It seems like he was talking about all time because the Ethiopian Spaniard Bezabeth, ran under 13 minutes several years ago but then was convicted of I believe EPO use.

Yes, he definitely should. But I think he has a good shot at making the 1500m team this year. Doesn't GB get 4 places for Budapest with Wightman being defending champ? Of course maybe UK Athletics wouldn't take up the extra place anyway...
and right, we know the suspicion around Katir but Bezabeth definitely does not belong on that list being a convicted doper. So "Spain" has two under 13..
