For the last decade or so whenever i break through a shorter race plateau i generally puke after the finish. NBD as its never been an issue cause i usually win OR crush my pr. Iv been ultra training for the last 4 months so i did a 5k today as a fitness barometer and although i crushed my pr by about 10sec, i had to slow down as i felt like i was going to puke in th last 200m. Only issue was that the body felt STRONG, like sprint finish strong, but my stomach held me back which lead me to a second place finish. I dont know what to do. Iv tried no caffeen, eating less, eating nothing pre race doesnt matter ill just dryheave upon or near the finish. Any advice?
