WA should get rid of field events and distances above 1500m

But to tell the truth, we have high jump, long jump and pole vault of notable competitions.

Triple jump is stupid, why three jumps, not 2, 4 or maybe five?

Put and all throws are stupid and no one cares.

By the way, WA can the same time liquidate those non-metric stupid running distances like mile, 2 miles and so on by cutting them out from record books. If Americans want to race the mile and keep the records that's their business.

This is how it should be.

Throws can be cut and it wouldn't be missed. You don't have any cross-over athletes that do throws and run races like you do in the jumps. Def keep pole vault and the jumps. They are good time fillers to watch between races.

Why get rid of the field events? They often take place concurrent to the track events so it is not going to save time.

I like the PV and the discus/shot. Not any interest in the hammer, but I also would not want to see it go either.

You want to keep the javelin so why?

Just get rid of all events that take less than 1 minute to complete.
This automatically gets rid of all field events, and running events less than 800 meters.

Then we can focus on the real important events, the athletic events that really matter to us.
