For cross country (variable terrain) what would you wear? Spikes (ZoomX DragonFly... something else?) or flats (ZoomX Vaporfly Next% 2 )? Or have both depending on the terrain? Many of my courses have short paved sections but also a lot on fields. For those familiar with NY... take a Wappinger falls/Bowdoin as an example.

That’s a dumb response and you know it. Spikes in sidewalks suck. When I was running in the 1990s and 2000s cross spikes had rubber plates. So for courses where there was concrete you could take out the spikes and still have a nice cross country shoe. I imagine nine has super shoes that are similar, no?

No. The plate and cushioning is different. I would never bring my track spikes to the trail
