Morceli the guy that run 3:27:37 in 1995, run three times 1:44 800m in 1991 aged of 20:
21 JUN 1991 Neubrandenburg GER 1:44.85 Place 1 29 JUL 1991 Annaba ALG 1:44.79 Place 1 17 SEP 1991 Cagliari Meeting Terra Sarda, Cagliari ITA 1:44.97 Place 1
None will comes now and tell they were using EPO in 1991.
I always suspected that the shape and height of Ingebrigsten body will be a cap for him. so far he has only benefited from the ideal conditions which have transformed him from a just good runner to a super elite runner.
LOL -we need posters like you and Bad Wigins for the laughs and to hinder us falling asleep in our own convictions and thoughts..!
Improvment: convert his new 2 miles record to his old 3 / 5000m pbs, and it speaks for itself. But of course you knew that…😂
The 1500m improvement is (like you say) somewhat less striking (“only” 0.37 sec): Well, Jakob himself told Norwegian media that he took a chance in this race not being fully recovered from the two miles race, but we just have to see… But it’s hilarious that you side with Bad Wigins here -the posters who a few years ago told us with absolute certainty “that Jakob never would run sub 3.31”..! Maybe you to should put the “Bad” in your username as well….😂

Peak Jakob is now plateau Jakob. And no, 7:54 isn't generally beyond the reach of any endurance-based 3:28 guy who makes a serious attempt. It was to be expected.
On your mark, set, cope. But the faster you do, the more you know it's true.
Says the poster who a few years ago told us with absolute certainty that Jakob never would run sub 3.31…! 😂
Oh my….You really are full of yourself. You are not an objective observer at all. I see in another thread you are hysterically proclaiming that you are a realist and not a Jakob fanatic, yet you are proclaiming that Jakob will break records from 1500m through 10000m. All the doping that Jakob utilizes, and the advantages cornered by the super footwear, are not enough to make Jakob the best 10000m runner even of his generation. Both Ugandans appear to be superior and Jacob is much more likely to run 26:10 than Jakob is. Why is it that Jakob is so relatively poor at Cross Country? I doubt Jakob could stay within 30 seconds of Jacob at World Cross Country.
So many of you are sniffing Jakob’s jockstrap that you can no longer see clearly.

Of course you won´t admit that you completely underestimated Jakob´s potential in the 3000m and the 2 mile.
You can say you’re piling on but I so far feel vindicated in starting this thread. Jakob is NOT improving anymore. I see folks such as yourself as doubling down on dumb.
Jakob ran 12:48 two years ago. Jakob ran 3:28.32 in an Olympic Final two years ago. So although the 2 mile surprised me, I realize it should not have been shocking when Mottram ran 8:03 without super spikes. So what is interesting is that Jakob is no longer improving, but as I have stressed, perhaps he doesn’t need to in order to win global titles for awhile. I have been vindicated since I started this thread. Have I been 100% correct? No I misjudged how much the super spikes would help his 2 mile, and I am impressed with his consistency, but Jakob is a 3:27.95 runner as of now, and his 3:28.32 in an Olympic Final 2 years ago should have alerted the intelligent to this. If anything I am awaiting a result which could prove me wrong, and I sense I will be waiting a long time, as it will not occur. Nice try though.

Jakob also ran 3:28.68 3 years ago. I think the poster is righty right. Jakob lifetime PR will probably be within a second his PR from age age. But anything significantly more would put in the 3:26 range.
The 3k / 2 mile is hard to process. 4 years ago, Jakob ran 7:27 losing to Kiplimo. Kiplimo just ran a 5k with the last 8 laps at 8:01. I’m not sure entirely sure he couldn’t still beat Jakob in the 3k.

The 3k / 2 mile is not hard to process -Jakob is clearly better now in this distance than 3 years ago (not 4 years ago -cheating one year doesn’t help your arguments) -just look at the numbers. And his winning in 3.27.95 is clearly better than being number two in 3.28.68! And the season has just begun… Man -the elephant in the room isn’t Jakob stagnating; it’s guys like you too stubborn to appreciate progression!

No, he's not. The OP was right. At the time the OP created this thread, Jakob had stopped improving. Since then, Jakob has run some record breaking times. His improved times came after this thread was created not before.

_________
Your failed prediction about Jakob was bad enough, Hoslann, but charging those who disagree with you of homosexuality was a special kind of jerkiness.
Is J Ingebrigtsen going to split 800m sub-1:51 going forward? With J Ingebrigtsen's 400 & 800 meter speed limitations, it is physically impossible for J I to break 1500m w.r. splitting 800m slower than 1:52. H el G had the courage to see split 800m sub-1:51. Does J Ingebrigtsen lack H el G's courage?

Do you lack the courage to post from your account?

Pure BS. OP said: "This is it folks. You have seen peak Jakob. He may maintain for a few years but you have seen the best of him."
