World Athletics allows athletes to race in spikes unreleased to the public. I didn't think they did, but on this weeks Coffee Club episode, they were going over the process of spike checking before races and mentioned you could wear unreleased spikes. I imagine they're wearing the same type Lex was (CC said people were literally sharing spikes because there weren't enough pairs for everyone), and if World Athletics is cool with it, I think it's fine for HS records.
Honestly though, I love OAC and L&L, so I'm not gonna change my mind anyway lmao

Yes let’s just give a pair of those ON spikes to every track runner in the world. Then we can really compare apples to apples. Either that or let’s just go right back to the start and have everyone running barefoot again.
