Anyone have any recommendations on a tempo/LR workout shoe? I currently looking to replace the Nike Tempo Next % for tempo work (5:15-5:20/mi) and moderate to marathon LR’s (5:30-6:20/mi). I’m looking for something ideally something with a plate and is fast enough for the tempo work and comfortable to take up to 20mi+.
I’ve tried Saucony Speed 3 and wasn’t a fan. Any recommendations?

I enjoy the New Balance Rebel 3. No plate but decent bounce. Very light. I wouldnt take them much past 13 miles but 20 miles might be ok if you are a lighter runner.
The upcoming Asics Magic Speed 3 may be worth a look. It has a plate.

This. They're frequently on sale so I don't mind putting lots of mileage on them (compared to Vaporflys and other race shoes).
Are you wanting a plated or nonplated shoe?

I use retired marathon racers. I used the 4% until it fell apart, then I bought a pair of OG alphafly on the cheap, and now I'm using a pair of Next%2 with about 200 miles on them.
If you haven't tried the Adidas Adios Pro, they may be worth trying. Very bouncy, carbon fiber rods, but fit a bit more like a regular shoe than their Nike counterparts.
If you want something that is a solid training shoe, yet still has some bounce and feels really responsive, the Mizuno Wave Rebellion is underrated. It's not a "super shoe" but it's a great pair for an uptempo long run.
