I'm interested in experiences of doing faster reps (<30sec 200s) and sprints at 90+% in the Next% or a similar shoe, for some training situations where it would be nice to go without spikes.
Have these served for faster work without issue or does the foot strike eventually become clumsy?
I have used them a lot for 50 to 200 speed sessions. They are fine on atraights but unstable on curves and I have to chop my stride. Workout recovery is great.

Maybe the Streakfly is better suited (incl. lower profile for acceleration and curves).
I agree Streakfly's are much better for going sub 60 400m pace, I prefer them for going anything faster than 65s 400m pace
They're fine, but don't provide any advantage over a a lightweight flat or spikes over distances that short. If I use them in training, it's only for longer reps (1 mile+)
Interesting to hear on the Streakfly.
Mainly the use would be for fast reps to finish a session (and not changing to spikes for these final reps), or in completing a speed session without having to bring spikes (useful if running to track from home, or wanting to dial back intensity a touch and ease recovery, per one contribution above).
The grip on grass or wet track seems to be limited, but I do like the design of the last in rolling off the big toe. The weight both of the Next% and Streakfly is attractive for sprints at 90+%.
