Congratulations on a great season so far! It sounds like what you are doing is working, keep it up, and good luck whenever your State Meet is!
Honestly, I'd talk to your coach and see what he/she says. I assume they have helped you get this far based on your tone and probably have a few suggestions. I'd talk to them about recovery and my guess is if they are worth their marbles, they would tailor recovery in between races better for you than the messageboards could.
Not necessarily that your recovery plan needs to be crazy detailed or complex but no sense in changing anything up this close to the races that matter. So assuming your coach knows what they are talking about, I'd go to them first!
Staying off your feet, out of the sun, and getting good sleep are all great suggestions like the posters above stated though. As for the warmup/cooldown etc etc, I'd talk to your coach.
