I feel like both of these guys can do it, but I don’t know what opportunities they have left. Leo seems like more of a 1500 runner in general. So he probably has the higher likelihood, but I’m not sure about their remaining schedule and what not.

leos 1500 in 3.39 is equivalent to a 3.56 or something so yeah
Sure. Why not? Seems like everyone is breaking 4 minutes in high school nowadays.
But the OP’s question is a valid one, because one does not make the ‘list’, unless they actually run the time (rather than a conversion), and one needs to get in actual mile races in order to take a crack at running the time.
Would not the HOKA Festival of Miles on June 1 be a good opportunity to take a crack at it, before their High School careers come to an end? If they come up short there, then they can take another crack at it at Nike Nationals a couple of weeks later.
It seems like Aaron sahlman could be around four as well. I'm not sure if its truly gonna happen in high school.
but that does not count wrote:

In think they are running the LA Grand Prix next weekend.
If they get in a race with good pacing, I think they can both do it. It would be so sick if they both broke 4 in the same race. I thought they were both signed up for NON? I remember being excited that a bunch of the top milers would be running it.
