My guess is not. Which leaves the orca in the enviable position as both best "runner" in the ocean and most powerful predator. Nice position to be in.

But if an orca chased a swordfish, wouldn't the orca catch it after a mile or two when the swordfish slowed down? That's my guess. But maybe there is someone on here who knows more.
Actually at least 9-10 animals are faster in the ocean than an Orca. A swordfish is probably twice as fast. The orca is the apex predator of the oceans, though, and nothing can take it. Evidently the livers of great white sharks are tasty and there are videos out there of orcas annihilating great whites, disemboweling them, and eating their liver.
Off the top of my head, I'd guess any of the marlins, swordfish, sailfish and big bluefin tuna could probably outswim an orca, both speed and endurance.

You honestly don’t think that a swordfish can take on an orca, do you? It might get a few show in on it but and orca would make a quick meal out of a swordfish.
We were fishing up in the the Gulf of Mexico near the Florida Panhandle once and a guy on our boat hooked a swordfish that was spawning. By the time it was on the boat a dolphin had taken half of it.

A quick Google search indicates that the bottlenose dolphin has a slightly higher top speed than the orca, which makes sense given that it's smaller and a little more streamlined. I'd guess they have pretty similar endurance capabilities since they're closely related.
No denying the overall badassery of orcas though. Simply the ultimate apex predator, land or sea.
Believe me, if Orca wanted to kill a swordfish or any other living prey of its choice it would definitely adapt to the situation over time, figure it out and employ the rest of the pod to do so more efficiently. Largest mammal brain and great communicator. They figured they needed to crawl back into the water to get as far from tbose smelly monkey things as possible. That worked for awhile but those poop throwing babboon butts got just smart enough to wreck everything. Im praying for Orcas Revenge.

May be already happening. A lot of humans disappear at sea, presumed drowned. Orcas may be smart enough to make sure there are no witnesses and leave no evidence.
