Are you talking about box jumps?
If so, you should either do them before you run or as part of a different workout. Do relatively few and focus on getting your full explosiveness out of each jump. It isn't an endurance workout and shouldn't be treated as such. Also, don't try to maximize height like you see when people do them on social media. Those jumps are more about how good you are at tucking your body at the top rather than how explosive you are. You should pick a height that you can easily get onto.
As for how many you should do, my best advice is to stop when you're no longer as explosive as you were at the beginning of the workout. I like 30 seconds to a minute rest between jumps. How often? Once or twice a week.
