I'm running the 800 and the 1500 in a meet in about a week's time and I was curious if people thought I could beat my goal times based on my past couple workouts. For added context I've been doing ~30 mpw for the past like 3 months and I ran a 4:59 mile a couple weeks in to this training block. I also have a 2:08 800 pr from 2 years ago.
Workout 1: 10 x 400 /w 90s rest, average pace of 71.8s
Workout 2: 20 x 200 /w 30-45s rest, average pace of 35s
Workout 3: 3 x 300-200-200-100 /w 1 min between reps and full recovery between sets
Set 1: 44, 30, 30, 15 | Set 2: 45, 31, 31, 15 | Set 3: 46. 31, 32, 15
My goals are to go sub 4:40 in the 1500 and sub 2:08 in the 800. I can answer any more questions about my training if you want.
