Looking through the old Olympic photos, did no one ever think how stupid it was to bring together a world's worth of athletes all dressed in the varied and colorful uniforms representing their nations... and then cover them up with enormous race numbers? I suppose it's not like this problem isn't still with us, though at least the numbers are now longer the size of newspapers.

there was a wrestler that won gold in 1972 that was Nike's first sponsored athlete.
I don't know if he wore Nikes then, and he obviously didn't run.
