Got owned at NXN and decided to bail
neither are long beach wilson (national 4x800 leaders) and central (fresno). are they banned this year because of the fight last year?

It’s not like they’ve dominated the National HS scene this year and don’t have competition. The class of 2023 is incredibly strong. And, if I recall correctly, their last two HS competitions were NXN and NBIN: we all know about NXN and Lex got third at NBIN. To each their own, but I don’t love this.
The list ends at Dickran. No Porter, Shetty or any of the other junior varsity guys entered.
Great oak has 44 entries wow

Doshi and Dickran are the only 2 nonsenior NP boys entered
That’s probably because none of the younger ones meet the minimum standards.
I like this. I said it a long time ago, but I think we'd be way stronger as a country if MS/HS athletes had a club thing going on. I think HS sports are great, but for top athletes or athletes who want to get as much as they can out of themselves, being able to join a group with a good coach and other athletes who are as driven as you is the way to go.
The school system produces an assemblage of students. From that mire, a few standouts arise. For instance, I see Connor Burns is entered in Arcadia!

He is seeded in the 3200m Inv.
Not sure what your point is exactly; if a high school kid wants to join a club, they typically can in this country, but there is a vast swath of land out there where clubs aren’t available, and the high school team is the only outlet.
If a kid has exceptional talent (and money is available) there may be some specialized sports schools, like IMG, for consideration.
There is a lot of training information and exposure available online like never before. Maybe a specialized online training environment, where kids would participate through Zoom (or other), even filming and uploading workouts in a collective space, could fill a void?
