Every record whether it be age group, school, track/course, meet, conference, state, national, or Olympic will be rewritten because of the shoes. Sprinters have their own version. Every event on the track, grass, or roads.

Yep the 1500m is definitely my favorite ultra running distance.

I assume you suddenly became interested in the influence of super shoes on ultramarathon records because Camille Herron destroyed the world women's 48-hour record yesterday.
She raced in Hoka Rincons (as she almost always does), which are a plain old running shoe, not a super shoe. So you'll have to reevaluate.
