My guess is no! The stands are all empty. It’s comical. Yet espn wants to promote womens basketball to no end. Kinda sad. Women play inferior basketball to men and the games are boring
I went to South Carolina for undergrad and the women’s games were electric. Our men’s team blows so the women’s games would either sell out or come close to selling out each time
The stands aren't empty yet but that's because the better seed team has the home game. There are only about 16 decent teams in the women's tournament which is more than in the past- still no parity.
I'm currently switching between Indiana vs Tennessee Tech (womens) and San Diego St vs Furman (mens). They're both boring.

booooo
Why would you ask such a loaded question ? If you don't watch it and are not interested why are you asking if other people do so ? This cess pit place again where people come to manage their egos, fears and anxieties in anonymity.

I had a related thought, though I felt less hostile to the women's tournament coverage. ESPN is clearly promoting and covering women's sports more than it used to—the same is true of women's hockey in Canada. But for every person who doesn't care or is outright dismissive there are people who will follow the sport more. I think that is better than reporting on Lebron's latest tweet. And it is a good thing for girls playing sports to see that they too can have people care about their sports.
Consider this very website! I would be far less aware of women's running without Letsrun's coverage of NCAA and professional track and cross country. Yes they run slower and I admit I follow the men's coverage a little more closely (as a man who is a runner) but I still enjoy following women's running and it does not cost the men's coverage anything, so where's the harm?
My understanding is that the Women’s NCAA Softball Tournament is the only “ball & stick” sport where the women’s ratings are comparable to the men’s (NCAA baseball) ratings for a similar level.
The women's B1G semis and finals were packed. Solid games will bring out the crowds. There is still too much disparity from1-16 in the ladies game. They should reshrink the field, but that will never happen.
I used to have a bit of hope that the transfer portal would help smaller schools. But it seems that right now it just allows the bigger school to raid any talent they missed on in recruiting. I doubt the parity ever arrives.
Why do trolls think this kind of thread is still funny and creative? cant you guys come up with something new? and why do mods allow tons of these tired sad mysoginstic threads to stay up despite being straight forward attacks on female athletes? oh thats right, because trolls posting hate is how they generate revenue here.
Anyway, the answer to this insincere "question" is yes. millions do. also, the most entertaining player in college basketball is female. and if you dont believe thats true than you havent been paying attention to either mens or womens basketball.
Tennessee is playing at home and it is not a packed arena.
I noticed that too. Maybe it's because Tennessee is still on spring break. Nevertheless 20 years ago, their stands would have been filled. The big 10 teams have crowds (Ohio State, Indiana, Iowa).

James Madison is proving right now there are more than 16 quality teams.
personally no. its slow, they don't dunk, they rush bad shots, and every 3 pointer looks like a half court heave. its like watching JV boys basketball.
To be fair, aside from the very best teams, mens college basketball isn't much better. NBA or GTFO.

Yeah. A good game but I think OSU got rid of their jitters and will win easily. I'd love there to be more than 16 quality teams- I hope Im wrong- I love college basketball.

Tennessee used to have a championship contender 20 years ago.
Big Ten teams have crowds because "offense sells tickets."
Part of the (toxic) feminism movement is to pretend women's basketball is equal to men's basketball. It is a product that generates revenue and the men's game is vastly superior but the agenda won't acknowledge that fact. Women have financial opportunities in other industries that favor them over men. These feminists ironically have one thing in common that they lack the self awareness to acknowledge--they are all selfish, entitled and ignorant. They are dragging anyone who joins their clan down with them whether it be males or females. Pure toxicity with the guise they're helping when they're actually hindering.
