Both great races. I'd choose NCAA though. so much talk about the Washington guys, and Essayi coming in, Basten almost stole it.
The D3 5000m champ didn't beat the D1 5000m champ, but the latter ran the fastest collegiate 5000m race at altitude ever (13:37 in ABQ is worth about 13:13 at sea level) and three D3 guys (also running in ABQ) ran a time that converts to 13:20s at sea level, 13:47>13:23, 13:52>13:28, 13:53>13:29. Those are three of the top ten D3 performances ever. The top D3 milers ran converted times of around 3:55-57. This is by far the best D3 distance year ever.
Heidisch should be DQed. He pushed by and blocked. Same kid who pushed a guy in the state 800 last year.

WTF are you talking about? d3 was in AL.
