If I had less gray hair I'd look another 5-10 years younger Been running mileage for 40+ years. The joints however, they do take a pounding but mix it up more when you get older and that should help you get through. Eat right, moderate your vices, pay attention to niggles, sleep well, and keep your weight in check.
