I’m running unattached for a track meet in 2 months. I just did a 400m time trial indoor without spikes and ran a 56. No speed training and have only been on my feet for a month after getting cleared to run. (Just slow miles and strides). I haven’t ran a workout since May 2022.
note: I was a 4/8 runner at my college before being put out by an injury. 50.1 and 1:55. Im not anywhere in that shape nor do I think I’ll get back to it.
is aiming for 51 unrealistic? I’d really love to get back down there again.
