Journalism is completely dead. They take the students' word and don't get the school's side of the story.
Something tells me high school kids reading at a 3rd grade level aren't the best source of information.

Yeah, TheDoltInTheRoom is about as sharp as a potato. Just reading some of his posts will reveal how dense he is.

“But what about?” 😂
We all know that their "slavery lesson" would basically be "the white man swooped down with nets and captured innocent Africans", rather than the actual truth that slaves were sold by other Africans to the Europeans.
"Students walk out after being told to limit Black History program" from the 1st post.
You have to wonder, if Alabama hired a DeSantist flunky; as an Educational consultant.
The students were told they “couldn’t talk about slavery and civil rights because one of our administrators felt uncomfortable,” said Black History Month Program board member J’Niyah Suttles, a senior who participated in Wednesday’s walkout.
Yeah, that didn't happen.
“My protector from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. — for you to tell me I can’t talk about something that is dealing with my culture is very disturbing, it’s very confusing,” Suttles said.
Who the f*ck talks like this? This chick sounds like a looney toon.
If I were a betting man, I would say that there's a 5% chance this story actually happened, and 95% chance that are just Jussie Smollett copycats, making sh!t up for attention.
In the 80's, in a big city liberal school we learned that people in Africa sold people as slaves in the slave trade. IDK where you went to school but it sounds terrible.
True. But nobody has learned it in 20 years.
