It totally disrespects heavy women. There is no song called Fat Bottomed Boys. Why? Just time to get rid of the song.
Yes, ban it. Ban every song. Also ban every renaissance painting. In fact ban all painting that depicts a person. Ban the ones that don't depict people. Ban every movie. Ban every book. Ban everything that may be deemed offensive by anyone at any time. Repeat the process every 6 months as the list of "what offends" grows... until everyone and everything is the same.

First of all, I disagree that FBG "totally disrespects heavy women." Back in the day, it was widely (LOL) interpreted as a paean to women with enough ample adipose tissue in derriere to make shagging most pleasurable for blokes, particularly in certain positions.
FBG also made it clear that even in the 70s when the fashion and entertainment industries idolized stick-thin women like supermodel Twiggy and the actress Faye Dunaway the way she looked in the 1976 blockbuster movie"Network," most men back then liked women with a bit of meat on their/our bones and bottoms - and some guys in that era were really into big women, just as some are today.
Also, if FBG were to be binned, then there'd be calls to get rid of the Spinal Tap parody, "Big Bottom." And soon enough someone would insist on banning the 90s hit "Short Dick Man" too.

Seems like a body affirming song to me and should also be played back to back with Sir Mix a Lot's gem...

All this from a gay guy
Huh? FBG was written by Brian May. There's no evidence May is gay.
If you're talking about the man who sang the song, Queen lead vocalist Freddie Mercury, he was bisexual. Mercury had sexual relationships with women and men throughout his life, though there came a time when he apparently had a lot more casual and anonymous sex with males than females. That's very common for bisexual men, for reasons that should be obvious.
Also, whilst I have no idea if Freddie Mercury ever had sexual attraction to any large women, he certainly was well known to be a great admirer of female opera singers whose builds made them the butt of the famous jokey line, "it ain't over until the fat lady sings."
Mercury's favorite singer of all time was the Spanish diva Montserrat Caballe, a woman who was large all over. Mercury said she is the only singer he was ever in awe of, and the only one who ever made him cry.
Mercury first saw Caballe in 1981 when he went to see Luciano Pavarotti in a concert where Pavarotti performed with her. Legend is that Mercury was so blown away by Caballe's voice and presence that he hardly paid any attention to Pavarotti.
Initially, Mercury had no plans of ever trying to meet Caballe. He was intimidated by the very idea, as he thought Caballe would look down on him and his genre of music. But it turned out that just as Freddie Mercury was a huge opera fan, Montserrat Caballe was a huge rock 'n' roll fan. The two singers eventually met and very quickly became close, devoted friends. They ended up doing a famous album together, "Barcelona," released in 1988. The title song, recorded in 1987:

I love the song, just think it needs augmenting. Given the talent of pianist Khatia Buniatishvili, I'd say they make the Classical music would go 'round, too!
