It was very, very impressive. I was rooting for Bosley. He has come a long way since high school and you could see him develop year by year. He's got good speed, better than Nico, and more of a forward-leaning stride, which is more conducive to a kick, but Messoudi, who came to OSU more or less fully formed already, worked for that. The 2009 NCAA altitude conversion doesn't list 3k but does 3k steeple for Albuquerque, and it is 14.57s for a 9:15 steeple, so this is probably worth about 7:35-36, so comparable to the college record. I was surprised to see Jacobs out of this after his dominant 5000m performance but strange things happen when that many guys are in the running in a 3k and he got boxed and then could not respond.
