While the best looking running shoe out there and also quite comfortable, I find Ons fall apart quite easily. Does anyone else find this to be the case? I get holes in the mesh within a month it seems.

Lifeless bricks. Anyone pretending to like them is paid to wear them or is a tennis wanna-be in Palm Springs. (The longstanding running store there is now simply a On outlet, as the volume they sell to the tennis crowd is unreal.)

I put like 450 miles on my Cloudsurfer 6 with no problems

After reading "they're not crap" entirely reviews for the On Cloud Monster, I bought a pair and they are not awful.
Mine (Cloudstratus) have been very durable. The blown rubber bottom has far out-lived any of the super-soft foam shoes I’ve had.
I've have tried just about every model. They look great and are very nice for lounging around or going to the gym. I haven't had any durability problems. They are pure garbage for running. They just don't feel right when running and I don't know if it is because they are uncushioned, stiff or for some other reason. They are deadly slippery on ice or wet pavement, and this includes their hiking shoes.

I have to admit that when I was young and fast, just about any shoe was ok for running. Now, I am much more picky. I can use Endorphin Speed and Pro, Hoka Clifton, Adidas Boston, Gel Kayano, Salomon Speedcross - but not ON.

No, I own several pairs including Cloudflows that I used to use for running, but they all look great even after almost two years. Though I only use them for casual wear these days having switched to carbon shoes.
