He’s fortunate that Cade Flatt wasn’t racing. Flatt would have won by 2+ seconds. He will bring down the WR in the 800 by the end of his sophomore year.
I love to see this. This was probably his best event in high school, or 1a with 800 in 1:46.5, and he had a relatively disappointing first race (the 300 in 34), so good to see he is already ahead of his best high school performance here. I would not be surprised to see 1:44s this year from him.

Im surprised that Bizimana could be that close to Johnathan Jones. You think the 600 would be a great event for Jones
I mean Bizimana is Jones training partner after all. And Jones still has the 4th fastest time in collegiate history at 1:15.12 if he runs the 600 again he definitely going 1:14. I think that loss to sumner left a bad taste in his mouth.
