Tracksmith has taken the running community by storm and really become a household name across serious/semi-serious runners.
But their entire vibe/aesthetic is New England — what is the west coast equivalent of Tracksmith, a niche running brand known for quality with a cult like following?
I'm inclined to say rabbit (HQ in Santa Barbara), but I wouldn't say they have the same cult following. Vuori (founded just outside San Diego) is also up there, but isn't as focused on running as rabbit is.

Ever heard of Blue Ribbon Sports?
Their founder used to sell shoes direct to runners at track meets at college meets out West. For a while they sold some Japanese shoes then rebranded themselves and have done ok since then. You should check them out sometimes-

I own gear from Nike, Under Armour, Adidas, etc; mainly run in Brooks for easy runs, but I refuse to race in anything but Nike superspikes. The dragonfly are amazing for the 1600 and 3200.

A certain brand known across the entire world - a global running brand
West Coast the first I thought was Rabbit as well. Roark is in CA and make some really nice stuff, especially if you want a business casual collared wicking shirt. I have a few of their shirts I wear when I run commute.
Back in the 90s it has to be Reebok. I gave out Dan vs Dave plus Suzy tshirts during the 92 Olympic trials party at Margaritavile. Best track party ever. Mr. Green band which I was told were employees. Fun times. Reebok had their centipede which would lose one time to the PowerBar pede that I got to run with. Those days it always felt like a Cult.
