Ollie Hoare, Cole Hocker, Marco Garcia Romo, Yared Nuguse, Eliud Kipsang, Johnny Gregorek, Sam Tanner, Josh Thompson, Neil Gourley, Sam Prakel, Drew Hunter.
Most likely going to be a fast race with Hoarse in the field. Would not be surprised to see Nuguse or Hocker get close to or get the American record. Garcia Romo has particularly been hyping Nuguse up on social media.
Maybe Kipsang can get close to the mile record collegiate record as well?
I love it. I've never seen a race use a horse to rabbit the field. We've been asking meet promoters to think outside the box and they have finally done it. This is brilliant marketing and should lead to an excellent time.
I find it hilarious that people act like 3:49 isn't fast. Only 4 humans have ever run faster indoors.

I really hope we see a new American record this year, after the two oregon/Nike guys almost snagged it last year. Mac Fleet, according to Twitter, was pacing Prakel in workouts and thinks he’s going to break it
wish Colby Alexander was in this race again, same with Cooper (I know he’s in the 3k) and Beadlescomb

Ollie Hoare, Cole Hocker, Marco Garcia Romo, Yared Nuguse, Eliud Kipsang, Johnny Gregorek, Sam Tanner, Josh Thompson, Neil Gourley, Sam Prakel, Drew Hunter.
Who you got? I think OAC could sweep.
Field is truly loaded. I like Olli to win, but I think it's a furious battle in the top 5 between Hocker, Nuguse, Tanner, Gourley and Garcia Romo. Amongst that group tactical/finishing edge goes to Hocker, Garcia Romo and Gourley. Talent makes me go overall: 1. Hoare 2. Hocker 3. Garcia Romo 4. Gourley 5. Nuguse 6. Tanner
Hoare all the way. He's already racing well, and he's the class of the field, top 3 in the world despite flaming out in Eugene. Shame Kerr isn't running, I think he's got a lot to prove this year

This probably means that Ollie won't be running a relay leg at world xc. 6 day turnaround as Feb 11th is 12th in Australia. 4x2k team of Stewy, Ollie, Hall, and Hull would have had a great chance to medal if not win.
