In professional boxing you must be licensed to fight. The licensing commission will conduct a physical and neurological exam and even watch you spar and workout out, to make sure you have adequate boxing skills. It is theoretically possible for someone of advanced age to obtain a license, but highly unlikely. The oldest person I know about was a former amateur boxer who went to jail for 30 years on a drug dealing conviction. After being released he was able to obtain a license at age 52.

There is a bare knuckle boxer that is like 53 that knocks his appoinents out pretty handily. People have this misconception that an older guy is weak and can't fight. Keep in mind there are plenty of 70+ walking this earth that can still beat the piss out of any of us on these boards.
