We decided in another thread that 2 miles a week will get you sub 3:50 so I wish you luck in your upcoming marathon.
4:05-4:10 seems about right

Your going to hate this but athlete I coached recently ran 3:49 and he didn't do anything like this. 2 1/2 weeks prior 2x8x400 on 1:45 cycle around 71-72.
He runs about 45 miles a week. Talent.
In discussion like these it would be good for an OP to specify 1500 or 1600/mile.
Yes, I'm aware that the OP's question is about a 1500 time, but still.
Wow. That must have just been CV effort for him .
Hard sessions #1 6x300m grass Hill 3 mins rest
#2 2x8x200m Hill with jog recovery
All other cv and threshold. We haven't touched 400's at race pace Nats April 1
Good luck...slow down
You could be anywhere from 4:00 to over 4:05 depending on what kind of runner you are
Yup. I never broke 4, but regularly did sessions like this. Not to say you couldn't break 3:50, but this data does not indicate it.
