Shoes went on presale back in October. They claimed a few would release as early as November, the remaining orders would be fulfilled in December. They then said by "Late December". Then by January. Now it's "Late January"...
They have also already charged our credit cards for the full pre-order price. The charge isn't "pending", it's officially been charged despite the orders remaining unfulfilled. Maybe this is unfair criticism and a normal thing with pre-ordering shoes (I guess I'm not super familiar with pre-ordering new releases like this), but as I recall, Nike/Running Warehouse/Eastbay/Dick's/etc. don't officially charge your card until the order gets shipped.
There has been very little to no communication from them since the orders were made. I've had to check the website to see how far out the latest delay is (vs. them emailing and saying "sorry xyz has caused a delay in our shipments"). I saw a reddit thread with someone in an argument with customer service over the shipment dates. Customer claimed they were advertised with a possible November release. Tracksmith rep claimed they never said that. Back and forth arguing...
Meanwhile, they're already teasing sneak peaks at the second version of the shoe in their ads. This is all very annoying, and has really soured the brand for me. A little communication would go a long way here.
